The perfect Valentine’s Day gift made using your empty Bonne Maman jars!
Makes 6 mailboxes
Supplies
For the mailbox: 6 clean 13 oz Bonne Maman jars 1 can of pink or red matte spray paint 1 roll of wide painter’s tape Scissors Pen Printable heart stencils
For the love notes: Red, white and pink construction paper Paper cutter Colored pencils or markers 1 roll of twine
Directions
For the mailbox:
Download, print and cut out the printable heart stencils. Using the cutout hearts and pen, draw hearts onto the wide painters tape, then cut out. Apply painter’s tape hearts to the front and center part of the clean Bonne Maman jars. This will create the heart shaped cut out once the jars are painted. In a well ventilated area, spray the jars with the matte spray paint. For the best results, let the jars dry overnight. Once dry, peel off the painter’s tape hearts.
For the love notes:
Using a paper cutter, cut the red, white and pink construction paper into stripes. Have your family write love notes to one another on the construction paper. Once a note is written, roll them up and tie with twine.
Fill each other’s jars with your notes and read one a day for a daily dose of love.
