Pumpkin spice makes everything nice! This donut recipe is a fall favorite breakfast treat that’s easy to make with our Bonne Maman® Pumpkin Spice Spread
Pumpkin Spice Donut Ingredients
- 1/2 C. Brown Sugar
- 1/2 C. Canola or Vegatable Oil
- 1/2 C. Bonne Maman Pumpkin Spice Spread
- 1/3 C. Buttermilk or Whole Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2x Large Eggs
- 1 & 3/4 C. Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
Pumpkin Brown Sugar Icing Ingredients
- 3/4 C. Brown Sugar
- 1/4 C. Buttermilk/Whole Milk
- 1 tbsp Melted Butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- Heaping Spoonful Bonne Maman Pumpkin Spice Spread
- 1/2 C. Powdered Sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
In medium mixing bowl combine sugar, oil and Bonne Maman Pumpkin Spice Spread.
Add milk, vanilla and eggs and whisk together.
In separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Add the cinnamon and nutmeg and mix thoroughly.
Mix together dry and wet ingredients, until just combined. Do not over mix.
Use a pastry brush or oil spray to grease donut pan.
With a ziplock bag or pastry bag, fill donut molds, no more than 3/4 full.
Bake for 8-11 minutes in preheated oven. When they are finished, donuts should spring back to touch.
While donuts bake, make the icing.
Combine sugar and melted butter and mix until smooth.
Add milk, vanilla and Bonne Maman spread and mix again.
Then mix continuously while adding powdered sugar.
Allow donuts to cool, and then dip them one-by-one into the icing.
